10-Hour Basic British Sign Language
Start Date: Thursday 8th May 2025
Time: 1pm to 3pm
Duration: 2 hours weekly (over 5 weeks)
Location: Manchester Deaf Centre, Crawford House, Booth St E, M13 9GH
10-Hour Basic British Sign Language: This course is purely for fun and our informal sessions will cover sign vocabulary related to everyday life, including: family, friends, days of the week, numbers, meeting people and greetings. Great for people who are looking for a taster without committing to a fully accredited qualification.

Fingerspelling
Meeting and greeting
Numbers and money
Days, months and time
Family and friends
At the end of the course, we will test your knowledge of what you’ve learned in the previous 4 weeks and you will receive your certificate of completion!
